University of Cape Coast has been hit with a sad news according information gathered by Pataapa.com as a level 100 female student has died a few days after being crashed by a sprinter bus.
The management of the school in a press release announced the untimely death of Priscilla Owusu Achia, a level 100 Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resource Management) student who was knocked down by a speeding sprinter bus on 10th April.
According to a statement from the school signed by the University’s Director of Public Affairs, Major Kofi Baah-Bentum (Rtd.), “Priscilla was in the company of her friends to buy some food items when the Sprinter bus which was overtaking another car knocked her.”
The incident happened on Saturday, April 10, 2021, and she passed on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at about 11.30 am.”
The family of the bereaved has been contacted while the school has expressed and extended condolence to the family following the unfortunate incident.
