Ebony Reigns, the father of late Ghanaian songstress Nana Opoku Kwarteng, has dragged Rufftown Records’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ricky Nana Agyemang, better known as Bullet, to court.
Zionfelix.net has heard that after her contract expired, Nana Opoku Kwarteng aka Starboy Kwarteng is asking for songs from his deceased daughter from the Record Label.
He resorted to making this appeal through the court of law.
The length of the contract was not revealed to the public as it stands now, but Bullet revealed in an interview some years ago that Ebony Reigns gained from 40 percent of the contract signed with Rufftown Records / Midas Touch Inc.
The father of the deceased reported barely a year ago that the contract was intact after the death of her daughter and earned the negotiated 40 percent of revenue on songs written by Ebony Reigns.
On February 8, 2018, following a car crash on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway, the promising dancehall diva sadly passed away.
Zionfelix.net will have updates on this story in progress.
