Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has assured party supporters victory in 2024 elections as they seek to break the eight-year tenure jinx.
Ghana’s political elections has been characterized as a eight-year term since 1992, meaning no ruling government has ever gone beyond eight years in office.
Meanwhile, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has predicted victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2024 elections.
According to their report, they said the NDC can only win the power back should they present a new face in 2024.
However, the Member of Parliament, Mr Ernest Norgbey disagrees with EIU’s predictions.
According to Norgbey, he says NDC does not need a new face to recapture the presidential seat back again.
Speaking to JoyNews, monitored by Pataapa.com, Mr Norgbey siad, “NDC cannot go into this election with any other candidate rather than John Dramani Mahama.”
The MP for Ashaiman strongly believes former president, John Mahama is the surest bet to bring NDC back to government in 2024.
