KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TYPES OF APPLICANTS WHEN APPLYING FOR A UNIVERSITY.
1. Direct Applicants: they are applicants to be selected on the strength of their Senior High School results. Direct Applicants usually do not write the Entrance Examinations except for programmes whose entry requirements demand so.
2. Mature Applicants: they are those required to pass the University’s Entrance Examinations before selection. It usually comes with age bracket. They cannot obtain admission directly with their school certificates unless they pass the UEW Entrance Examinations to justify their inclusion.
