JUST IN: President Nana-Addo Declares 7 Days of National Mourning
The Current President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana-Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declayed seven days of national mourning in honour of the memory of the late Jerry John Rawlings.
The announcement was made by a Press Release signed by the President this afternoon, The President has also directed that, All National Flags should Fly at Half-Mast For seven days.
” I have directed that all national flags should fly at a half-mast for seven days in all part of the country, and have declared seven days of national mourning from Friday, 13th November to 20th November. In honour of the memory of the former President Rawlings.”
The vice President and I have suspended our political campaign for same period.
