The largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expelled it’s former Central Region Chairman, Allotey Jacobs.
The party gave a detailed announcement on expulsion of Allotey Jacobs from the NDC.
It said the decision was made during it’s Functional Executive meeting held on Wednesday, March 23.
The sacking is the penalty for “allegations of misconduct, anti-party conduct” he has to face after being found guilty.
Mr Jacobs was shown the exit in compliance with Article 48 (1) of the party’s constitution and recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee after his initial suspension.
It means, Mr Allotey Jacobs can not carry himself around as a member of NDC and will not be recognized as such.
Mr Jacobs is, thus, required to return all party property in his possession.
