John Mahama Finally Reacts To Martin Amidu’s Resignation
The former president of the Republic of Ghana who doubles as the flag bearer of the leading opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr John Dramani Mahama, has officially reacted to the recent resignation of the special prosecutor Mr Martin Amidu.
In an official statement from the office of the former president, Mr mahama expressed his worry about the fact that Ghana is losing the fight against corruption as the special prosecutor has resigned his position.
He again commended Mr Martin Amidu on the good works he did when he was in office to fight against corruption in Ghana but criticized him that his best was not enough to meet the expectations of Ghanaians.
He again criticized the Akufo Addo led government claiming that they interfered in the activities of the special prosecutor, however, Mr mahama promised that his led government will desist from interfering in the activities of the special prosecutor and make it an independent body should Ghanaians vote the NDC into power again in the December 7 elections.
