Ghanaian sensational dancehall singer, Shatana has disclosed that she was approached with $50,000 to endorse homosexuality.
According to her during the wake of the LGBTQ saga, a member called her to throw in her support for their right but she rejected the offer.
Shatana was speaking in an interview on Jador Online Radio, monitored by Pataapa.com, the ‘Bad’ crooner said she can’t endorse homosexuality because God and our culture frowns on it.
The LGBTQIA+ community in Ghana get attracted a lot attention about some weeks ago, after President Akufo-Addo ordered the Ghana Police to shutdown their office in Accra.
Following that, many celebrities including Juliet Ibrahim, Michael Essien and Sister Derby all joined the the LGBTQIA+ community to fight for equality in Ghana.
However, this appeal has mounted to nothing as we speak.
According to her, celebrities are often given payment for supporting LGBTQ+ a move that has impressed donors.
“Homosexual behavior is harmful both to the individuals who choose to participate in it and the society that chooses to accept it” said.
