Honourable Peter Amewu has many good policies worthy of support – Shatta Wale
Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall god, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has encouraged fervent support from the people of Hohoe for honourable John-Peter Amewu, Minister of Energy and Member of Parliament-elect of the Hohoe Constituency.
Honourable Peter Amewu had won the Hohoe parliamentary seat for the NPP with a total of 26,952 votes, as against the 21,821 votes amassed by the NDC parliamentary candidate, Margaret Kweku, in the 2020 general elections.
During a thanksgiving ceremony held at the St. Augustine Park in Hohoe, Shatta Wale had shaken the crowd with several great performances to celebrate the victory of the Minister of Energy and Member of Parliament-elect for the Hohoe Constituency, John-Peter Amewu, in the 2020 parliamentary elections.
Shatta Wale urged the people to strongly back Hon. Amewu in the discharge of his duties as the duly elected Member of Parliament of the Hohoe Constituency, come 2021.
He commended the realistic developmental policies that the Member of Parliament-elect had put in place for the Hohoe Constituency.
Shatta Wale declared his undying support for the upcoming artistes in the constituency and disclosed his plans on working with some of them in the near future.
He performed all-time favourites such as Mahama Paper, Freedom, Level, Bulletproof, Taking Over, Low Tempo, Melissa and his latest hit, Hajia Bintu. The honourable Minister and MP-elect could not hide his joy and joined the many supporters in dancing to the great tunes of Shatta Wale.
He garnered great public admiration for his remarkable dance moves.
Hon. John-Peter Amewu conveyed his profound appreciation to Shatta Wale for gracing the occasion with his noble presence and promised to always have the Hohoe Constituency at heart.
He equally promised to implement a considerable number of developmental projects that will benefit the youth in the Hohoe Constituench, in his tenure of office.
