Accra Hearts of Oak has sent a good wish message to the Ghanaian representatives in the CAF interclub competitions this season.
Asante Kotoko will feature in CAF’s elite competition in a second consecutive season as they start this season’s campaign against Mauritanian side Noudhibou FC.
On the other hand, Ashanti Gold will face Salitas FC from Burkina Faso in the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary stage at Len Clay Stadium, Ghana.

Kotoko and Ashgold will hope to go farther than they did the last time out.
The Porcupines lost 3-2 on aggregate to Etoile Du Sahel in the last round of the play-off stage and as a result, failed to make the group stage of the champions league. The Reds Subsequently lost 2-1 on aggregate to Ivorian side, San Pedro following a drop to the confederations cup.
In the same vein, the Miners lost to Morrocan giant and eventual finalist RS Berkane 4-3 in the second round of the play-off stages in the CAF second-tier inter-club Competitions.
However, both teams begin a new adventure this weekend with Kotoko playing on Friday, November 27, whereas Ashgold vs Selitas takes place on Sunday, November 29.
