President Akufo-Addo says the government of Ghana will give the late Jerry John Rawlings a befitting burial.
President Akufo-Addo brought this to notice in a statement while sympathizing with the family of the late J.J Rawlings.
According to President Akufo-Addo, the government will work closely with family on the burial of J.J Rawlings.
“Government will work closely with the family of President Rawlings on the arrangements for a fitting State Funeral for the late President, and will keep the nation informed accordingly.”
The President has also declared seven days of national mourning for the late former President and has ordered national flag must be flown at half-must beginning today, Friday, November 13, 2020.
