The Confederations of African Football (CAF) has announced a new date for Kotoko’s game against Nouadhibou in Mauritania.

Initially, the fixture was scheduled to take place on Friday, November 27, which led to the Porcupines traveling early this week to the West African Country.

According to reports, the sub-Saharan country will celebrate its independence on Saturday, November 28, and as a result; all activities have been suspended starting from Friday.  Therefore, the game needed to be rescheduled.

Hence, the one-champions league winners confirmed the changes made by CAF via their social media handles.

Kotoko is yet to win a game in the Ghana Premier League which leaves the fans in doubt of a win away in the CAF champions league.

However, Nouadhibou will make the third appearance in the competitions and has not gone past the preliminary stage in their last two.

With the game been played on Sunday, it means Ghana’s representatives in Africa-Kotoko and Ashgold will begin their journey on the same they in the Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively.
