AFCON2021Q: Christopher Nettey Named in Ghana Line up Against Sudan

Ghana host Sudan in a late afternoon kick-off in Cape Coast in a Group C fixture of the African Cup of Nation (AFCON) 2021 qualifiers.

Kotoko right-back Cristopher Nettey will make his full Black Stars debut at the right side of the defense with Chelsea’s Baba Rahman starting on the left.

Head Coach, Charles Kwablor Akunnor has named his starting eleven for the game scheduled for 4 pm today, November 12.

With Jordan Ayew leading the line for Ghana in a  4-2-3-1 formation, Emmanuel Lomtey, and Afriyie Acquah operate as the double pivot while Andre Ayew plays behind his brother leaving Samuel Owusu and Tarique Fosu on the wings.

John Boye will lead the backline together with Strasbourg centre-back Alexandre Djiku with in form Richard Ofori in post.

Ghana will hope to resume the qualifies with a win to keep their 100 per cent record in the group.
