President Akufo-Addo will leave Ghana today, December 14, 2020 for Ivory Coast and Guinea to observe the inception ceremonies of re-elected Presidents of Ivory Coast and Guinea.
President Akufo-Addo will later move to London after the two inception ceremonies before returning to Ghana.
This was announced by the Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah in a twitter post on Sunday.
“President @NAkufoAddo will be in Abidjan tomorrow for the inauguration of @AOuattara_PRCI as President.”
”On Tuesday, he will be in Guinea for the inauguration of President Conde.”
”He will then continue to London before returning to Accra.”
Mr. Ouattara will be sworn in today, December 14, while Condé will be sworn in on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.
No reason has been provided as to why President Akufo-Addo will pay a visit to the United Kingdom.
